Who will benefit:
This qualification will benefit anyone working as a personnel assistant, administrator or officer, whose role is to provide support for key aspects of the personnel function. Line managers, supervisors or team leaders who wish to gain personnel skills and owners or managers of small businesses may also benefit from this training.
Entry requirements:
No formal requirements, but participants should be practicing or managers involved with the personnel function.
Course Aims:
To develop the skills needed in personnel work and provide an awareness of the context of personnel functions and the key issues that impact on the personnel function. Skills covered include interpersonal and interviewing skills, instruction techniques and an understanding of employment legislation.
Progression:
The qualification provides an effective platform for moving on to the Diploma in Human Resources Management
Duration:
Up to 1 year
