Who will benefit:

Anyone working in a manufacturing engineered products environment that has the potential to attain the standards required for this qualification

Entry requirements:

Participants should be occupied in the manufacture of engineered products by machining, (manual or CNC/NC), fitting and assembly, composite and glass products and have a high level of technical skill and knowledge in that activity

Course Aims:

Participants will:

  • Gain recognition for any existing skills, knowledge and understanding appropriate to the activity
  • Be able to demonstrate safe working practices and procedures at all times
  • Be able to work to instructions with a minimum of supervision, taking personal responsibility for the quality and accuracy of the work they carry out.

Progression:

Team Leading or Engineering Management qualifications

Duration:

Up to 2 years
