Anyone working in maintenance and installation activities in an engineering environment that has the potential to attain the standards required for this qualification

Entry requirements:

Participants should be occupied in maintenance and installation activities in an engineering environment and have more than an intermediate level of technical skill and knowledge in those activities

Course Aims:

Participants will:

  • Gain recognition for any existing skills, knowledge and understanding appropriate to the activity
  • Be able to demonstrate safe working practices and procedures at all times
  • Be able to work to instructions, either alone or in conjunction with others, taking personal responsibility for the quality and accuracy of the work they carry out.

Duration:

Up to 2 years
