Emergency First Aid (Appointed Person First Aid)
This course is ideal for smaller workplaces that present few health and safety risks where a nominated person is required to take charge in the event of illness or accident. Fully qualified First Aiders in larger organisations can also benefit from additional support from Appointed Persons. This is especially relevant where the workplace may consist of many floors or work is operated in shifts.

Anyone within any workplace who is the nominated person or who provides support to qualified First Aiders.

Course Aims:
To give an insight into Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations, and will cover: how to manage an incident, priorities of first aid, resuscitation, blood loss, treatment of unconscious casualties, treatment of shock and common workplace injuries
