This covers the techniques of managing and coping with a death, the process of dying and bereavement.

Who will benefit:

Anyone would actually benefit from this course and especially if working within residential care homes, nursing homes or domiciliary care/nursing agencies where a knowledge and understanding of how to deal with death, the process of dying and bereavement and how to cope with these situations is necessary.

None.

Course Aims:

This course enables social carers to explore the grieving process and to identify the differences between normal and abnormal grieving following a bereavement or loss. Participants will gain valuable information and knowledge to help people for whom they care for as well as help themselves when suffering from a bereavement or loss.
